Hi, I was on the Master Cleanse two years ago and lost 46 lb. Today I’m back where I was two years ago. The Master Cleanse as a loosing weight tool SUCKS!!! If you’re thinking of doing that for this purpose then please don’t. BAD IDEA. The pounds are piling back in no time if you’re not exercising. My metabolism was so slow that I’d gained my first 10 lb in one week eating kimchi and tofu only. It’s a very low calorie food. Nevertheless, I was getting big rapidly. I was too weak to exercise after torturing myself for over 40 days. And if I need to keep the weight off by exercising, what’s the point of depriving myself of so many things and be miserable not eating at all for that long? On top of that I was loosing a lot of hair. Thankfully with a proper diet I got it back. My gums were bleeding badly as well. My skin started having fungus. And I couldn’t socialize much either. I’ve tried many diets and all of them have the same effect, a yo-yo effect. Never again would I get myself on any diet. Changing the life style is the key. Exercising religiously is the key. Period. And this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to adopt a new life style exercising every day. After watching many workout videos I’d created my own set of exercising to engage all parts of the body. And will stick to it for the next 40 days and compare it to the Master Cleanse results.
